This section establishes the procedure for submitting waiver requests under Alabama's substance abuse prevention standards. Providers must submit waiver requests in writing to the DMH/MR Director, who must render a written decision within 30 days. Services delivered during the waiver review period are reimbursable as long as they do not otherwise violate applicable standards or law.
