This section requires that all substance abuse prevention objectives align with the guidelines specified in each annual Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Alabama Division of Substance Abuse Services, as well as with applicable state and regional plans. It is a procedural/planning requirement governing prevention program grantees or contractors rather than a facility licensing standard. Compliance staff should ensure that prevention program objectives are drafted and updated in accordance with the current RFP and regional plan each year.
