This section governs the renewal of certification for entities certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation (DMH/MR). It requires that site visits for renewal purposes be conducted within 60 days prior to the expiration of the current certification, and allows any DMH/MR Division to request updated service information from a certified entity at any time. Facility operators must ensure they are available and prepared for scheduled renewal site visits within that window.
