This Illinois statute establishes that certain minors — including married minors, minor parents, pregnant minors, and anyone 18 or older — have full legal capacity to consent to health care services provided by licensed physicians, chiropractors, optometrists, advanced practice registered nurses, or physician assistants. The consent cannot be voided on the basis of the individual's minority status. This is a general health care consent law governing patient rights, not a facility licensing or operational standard.
