This section requires all behavioral health services providers that have applied for or hold a license under Louisiana R.S. 40:2151–2161 to permit inspection at all reasonable times by the Department of Health, the state fire marshal, municipal boards of health, and other authorized governmental entities. Licensees must also maintain all records and submit all reports as prescribed by the department, with those records open to departmental and governmental inspection. This is an enforcement and oversight provision applicable to the full scope of facilities licensed under the behavioral health provider licensure chapter.
