Plain-English summary

This section establishes the short title of Louisiana's 'Behavioral Health Services Provider Licensing Law' (R.S. 40:2151–2161), which governs the licensure of behavioral health services providers in the state. As a short-title provision, it does not itself set operating standards but anchors the broader licensing framework for behavioral health facilities. Compliance staff should treat this as the foundational citation for the entire Part IV-A licensing scheme.
