This regulation defines Recovery Support Services (RSS) as strength-based supports for individuals in recovery from a substance use disorder (SUD). It establishes billing and service delivery requirements: services must be billed in 15-minute units, may be provided in individual or group settings, and must comply with the operational standards in Chapter 63 of Title 22-A DCMR. Compliance staff should ensure that RSS providers follow both this Medicaid billing chapter and the referenced licensing chapter.
