This section establishes the application and review process for facilities seeking to provide psychiatric outpatient clinic services in Pennsylvania. Facilities must file an application for a certificate of compliance with the Department in accordance with Chapter 20, and must meet requirements of both Chapter 20 and Chapter 5200 before operating. Facilities are subject to a minimum of one annual inspection and additional unannounced visits at the Department's discretion, and must provide program and fiscal information upon request.

Code § 5200.5 - Application and review process State Regulations Compare (a) A facility intending to provide psychiatric outpatient clinic services shall file an application for a certificate of compliance with the Department in accordance with Chapter 20 (relating to licensure or approval of facilities and agencies). Facilities shall meet both the requirements of Chapter 20 and this chapter to obtain a certificate. Submission of an application does not constitute a certificate to operate pending Departmental approval. (b) Facilities will be inspected a minimum of once per year, and are subject to visits by the Department's designee at other times at the Department's discretion.
