Pa. Code 5200.4

Provider eligibility

This section establishes that psychiatric outpatient clinic services for individuals with mental illness or emotional disturbance may only be provided by a facility that complies with Chapter 5200 and holds a Department license. It explicitly excludes individual or group private practice from the chapter's regulatory scope. Facility operators must ensure licensure is obtained and maintained to legally deliver these services.

 Compare

Psychiatric outpatient clinic services for individuals
 with mental illness or emotional disturbance shall be provided only by a
 facility which complies with this chapter and is licensed by the Department.
 Nothing in this chapter is intended to regulate the provision of mental health
 services in individual or group private practice.
