This section clarifies that Chapter 5200 does not replace other applicable regulations governing mental health facilities in Pennsylvania, including building/fire safety codes, mental health records confidentiality requirements, and patient rights provisions. Facility operators must remain in compliance with all other relevant state regulations in addition to Chapter 5200. This is a savings clause, not an independent licensing or operating standard.
