This section prohibits programs regulated under 55 Pa. Code Chapter 5200 from discriminating against staff or service recipients on the basis of race, color, creed, disability, religious affiliation, ancestry, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, or age. Programs must comply with all applicable state and federal anti-discrimination statutes and regulations. As a section within Chapter 5200, which is administered by OMHSAS and covers mental health outpatient/clinic programs, this nondiscrimination requirement applies to those same facilities.
