This section requires the treatment team leader to ensure that staff with relevant training and experience participate in developing, implementing, and reviewing individualized treatment plans. The team leader is responsible for coordinating service delivery, reviewing progress notes and discharge summaries, and encouraging the person in treatment to be involved in the planning process. It is part of a chapter governing partial hospitalization (day treatment) programs under Pennsylvania's Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
