Patients in partial hospitalization programs must receive a minimum of 3 hours of planned treatment per hospitalization day. Required programming must emphasize a therapeutic milieu and include therapeutic, recreational, social, and vocational activities, as well as individual, group, or family psychotherapy, psychiatric and psychological evaluations, and medication evaluations as determined by the treatment team.
