This section requires that an individual treatment plan be formulated for all patients in children and youth partial hospitalization programs by a treatment team consisting of a treatment team leader (a mental health professional), a psychiatrist, and other appropriate staff. For patients undergoing involuntary treatment, the treatment team leader must be a physician or psychologist. Treatment plans must be reviewed with parents or guardians of patients in children and youth partial programs when appropriate.
