Each licensed mental health provider must establish and maintain a written disaster evacuation and continuity of operations plan consistent with Department policy. Providers must immediately notify the Department and activate their continuity of operations plan when an imminent health hazard arises from emergencies such as fire, flood, utility interruption, sewage backup, or other conditions endangering the health, safety, or welfare of clients.
View official source8013 EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN 8013.1 Each provider shall establish and adhere to a written disaster evacuation and continuity of operations plan in accordance with the Department policy on Disaster Evacuation/Continuity of Operations Plans. 8013.2 A provider shall immediately notify the Department and implement its continuity of operations plan if an imminent health hazard exists because of an emergency such as a fire, flood, extended interruption of electrical or water service, sewage backup, gross unsanitary conditions, or other circumstances that may endanger the health, safety, or welfare of the individuals served.
