This section requires that adults and children receiving intensive case management (ICM) services have their records kept confidential in accordance with Pennsylvania mental health confidentiality rules and applicable federal and state law. Enrolled providers are also prohibited from discriminating against staff or consumers on the basis of age, race, sex, religion, ethnic origin, economic status, or sexual preference. As part of the ICM chapter, this provision governs community mental health case management providers operating under OMHSAS/DDAP oversight.
