This section requires Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) agencies to maintain written coordination agreements with specified providers—including psychiatric inpatient facilities, partial hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, crisis intervention programs, case management programs, and peer support services—and permits optional agreements with housing, substance use disorder, vocational, and other programs serving individuals 14 and older. Operators must document these interagency agreements as part of their organizational compliance. The regulation governs PRS agencies licensed under Chapter 5230, which covers psychiatric rehabilitation services for individuals 14 years of age and older.
