This regulation establishes the criteria under which a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) agency may discharge an individual, including achievement of IRP goals, attainment of maximum rehabilitative benefit, ability to sustain gains without continued service, or voluntary termination. Operators must document which criterion applies before proceeding with discharge.

An individual: (1) Has achieved goals and sustained progress as designated in the IRP. (2) Has gained maximum rehabilitative benefit.
