This section prohibits a PRS (Personal Recovery Support) agency from discriminating against individuals or staff on the basis of race, color, creed, disability, religious affiliation, ancestry, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, or age. The agency must comply with all applicable federal and state nondiscrimination statutes and regulations. As part of Chapter 5230 governed by Pennsylvania's OMHSAS and DDAP, this requirement applies to the recovery residence/personal recovery support license class.
