Upon discharge, a Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) agency must complete a dated and signed discharge summary within 30 days, covering services provided, outcomes and goal progress, reason for discharge, and referrals or recommendations for future services. The summary must be reviewed and signed by the PRS director and offered to the individual for review, signature, and comment. This requirement falls under Chapter 5230, which governs PRS agency operations under Pennsylvania's OMHSAS and DDAP.
