This section requires an Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) agency to submit a written service description to the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services as part of its initial licensing application, covering details such as services offered, target populations, admission and discharge criteria, staffing ratios, treatment modalities, and service locations. The agency must also submit an updated service description whenever its services change or the existing description becomes inaccurate. This is an administrative/licensing requirement governing IBHS agencies, which provide ABA and other intensive behavioral health services primarily to children, youth, and young adults.
