An Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) agency must initiate ABA services for a child, youth, or young adult only upon receipt of a written physician order and must obtain written consent from the youth, young adult, or the parent/legal guardian of a child or youth prior to starting services. This section governs the procedural requirements for ABA service initiation within IBHS agencies in Pennsylvania.
