This section governs Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) agencies providing Evidence-Based Treatment (EBT) to children, youth, and young adults. It requires that EBT be delivered through individual, ABA, or group services pursuant to a written order, and that the IBHS agency obtain written consent from the youth, young adult, or parent/legal guardian prior to initiating EBT. Compliance staff should ensure both the written order and consent documentation are in place before services begin.
