This regulation requires the Director or their designee of a community residential rehabilitation services (CRRS) facility to notify the client's designated contacts and any responsible case management or treatment agency within 24 hours of a client emergency, serious illness or injury, unplanned termination, or death. All such notifications must comply with the program's confidentiality requirements. This is an operational/administrative requirement governing how staff must respond to critical client events.

Code § 5310.38 - Notification in case of client emergency State Regulations Compare (a) In case of an emergency, serious illness or injury, the unplanned termination, or the death or impending death of a client, the Director or the Director's designee shall notify as soon as possible but within 24 hours: (1) The person or persons designated by the client to be notified in such a case.
