This section specifies that the subchapter applies to all Community Residential Rehabilitation Services (CRRS) that provide full-care for children in host home settings. It prohibits persons under 18 (except emancipated minors) from being placed in partial-care CRRS or in CRRS sites serving adults. When a child in legal custody of a county children and youth agency is placed in a CRRS group home or host home, the additional requirements of Chapter 3800 (child residential and day treatment facilities) also apply.
