This section requires direct-care staff at mental health residential facilities to document service provision and resident progress toward treatment goals via weekly progress notes (or more frequently when warranted by behavioral changes). Special treatment interventions ordered in the treatment plan must be documented monthly, or more often if warranted, by the authorized direct-care or consulting staff who provide those interventions.
