This regulation prohibits the payment of District of Columbia funds for room and board to any Mental Health Community Residential Facility (MHCRF) or its residents unless the facility is licensed under this chapter. It also bars the Director from referring individuals residing in unlicensed facilities for the Optional State Payment, and prohibits unlicensed facilities, rooming houses, or boarding houses from receiving that payment for resident maintenance.
View official source3856 PAYMENT OF DISTRICT FUNDS 3856.1 No District of Columbia funds for room and board shall be paid to any MHCRF or to any person residing in a MHCRF for his or her maintenance in that facility unless the MHCRF is licensed pursuant to this chapter. 3856.2 No person shall be referred by the Director or designee for the Optional State Payment who is residing in an unlicensed facility. Further, no unlicensed facility, rooming house, or boarding house shall be entitled to receive the Optional State Payment for the maintenance of a person residing in the facility, unless the facility is licensed pursuant to this chapter.
