This regulation establishes the inspection process for initial licensure of a Mental Health Community Residence Facility (MHCRF) in the District of Columbia. Prior to licensure, the Director must conduct an on-site inspection and issue a written Statement of Deficiencies within ten days. Applicants have up to thirty days to correct identified deficiencies, after which a follow-up inspection must occur within ten days to verify corrections.
View official source3806 INSPECTION FOR INITIAL LICENSURE 3806.1 Prior to initial licensure of a MHCRF, the Director shall conduct an on-site inspection to determine compliance with this chapter. The Director shall send a written Statement of Deficiencies identified as a result of the on-site inspection to the Applicant no later than ten (10) days after the inspection is completed. 3806.2 A MHCRF with deficiencies shall be allowed a reasonable period of time, not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the written Statement of Deficiencies, to correct the deficiencies while an application for initial licensure is pending. The facility may submit written proof of correction of deficiencies where appropriate. 3806.3 The Director shall conduct a follow-up inspection to determine correction of deficiencies within ten (10) days following the thirty (30) day correction period or within ten (10) days after notification by the Applicant that the deficiencies have been corrected.
