This section establishes the hearing procedures for facilities licensed under Chapter 709 (Pennsylvania's drug and alcohol facility licensing chapter). When the Department seeks to refuse or revoke a license, it must convene a show cause hearing under 1 Pa. Code § 35.37, conduct any administrative hearing under the general rules of administrative practice and procedure (1 Pa. Code Part II), and may pursue legal proceedings to enforce compliance. Facility operators subject to licensure actions under this chapter must follow these procedural requirements.
