This regulation requires project staff at licensed drug and alcohol treatment facilities to notify clients in writing when their treatment is being involuntarily terminated, including the reason for termination. Clients must also be given the opportunity to request reconsideration of the termination decision. This is an operational/client-rights standard applicable to facilities licensed under Chapter 709, which governs outpatient and residential substance use disorder treatment programs.
