This section requires licensed drug and alcohol treatment facilities under 28 Pa. Code Chapter 709 to develop and maintain a data collection and recordkeeping system capable of efficiently retrieving data to measure program performance against stated goals and objectives. The system must also enable identification of client admissions and discharges within specific time periods. As a recordkeeping requirement, it applies to the same facility types governed by Chapter 709, which covers nonhospital drug and alcohol treatment facilities including detoxification and treatment/rehabilitation programs.
