This section establishes the hearing procedures for facilities regulated under Chapter 711, which governs certificates of compliance issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (OMHSAS) and Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP). When the Department seeks to refuse or revoke a certificate, it must convene a show cause hearing following state administrative procedure rules. The Department may also pursue legal proceedings to enforce compliance with the chapter.

Code § 35.37 (relating to answers to orders to show cause) and this chapter. (b) An administrative hearing held under this section shall be conducted under 1 Pa.
