This section requires any person or entity intending to provide drug and alcohol treatment services in Pennsylvania to apply for a certificate of compliance from the Department using prescribed forms and procedures. The certificate is valid for one year, after which the Department notifies the facility of its annual on-site inspection for renewal. The Department also notifies the relevant Single County Authority (SCA) when applications are received and certificates are issued.

Code § 711.11 - Application for certificate of compliance State Regulations Compare (a) Persons, partnerships, corporations, or other legal entities intending to provide drug and alcohol treatment services shall apply for a certificate of compliance from the Department. Application shall be made using forms and procedures prescribed by the Department. (b) The certificate shall expire 1 year from the date of issuance. Prior to the expiration of the current certificate, the Department will notify the facility of the date for the annual on-site inspection for renewal of the certificate.
