This regulation requires the project director of an opioid treatment program to provide written notice to a client when their treatment is being involuntarily terminated, including the reason for termination, and to afford the client an opportunity to request reconsideration of that decision. It is an administrative/client-rights provision within Chapter 711, which governs the licensing and certification of opioid treatment programs (methadone/narcotic treatment programs) in Pennsylvania.
