This regulation requires the project director of an opioid treatment program to provide written notice to a client of any involuntary termination of treatment, including the reason for termination, and to afford the client an opportunity to request reconsideration. It is a client-rights and procedural protection provision within the licensing framework for opioid treatment programs (methadone/narcotic treatment projects) governed by Chapter 711.
