This regulation requires the project director of an opioid treatment program to provide written notice to a client when involuntarily terminating their treatment, including the reason for termination, and to afford the client an opportunity to request reconsideration of that decision. It is a client-rights/procedural requirement governing how treatment terminations must be handled at the facility level.
