This regulation governs eviction and lease termination procedures for landlords participating in DC's Home First Subsidy supported housing program. Landlords may only terminate a program participant's tenancy in accordance with lease terms and applicable District law, and the Department may cease subsidy payments to the landlord upon such termination. The consumer's program participation status remains intact unless separately terminated by the Department under the applicable section.
View official source2215 EVICTIONS AND LEASE TERMINATIONS BY LANDLORDS 2215.1 Landlords receiving a supported housing subsidy may only terminate a program participant’s tenancy in accordance with lease terms and applicable District law. 2215.2 The Department may terminate Home First Subsidy payments to the landlord when the tenancy is terminated by the landlord in accordance with the lease and applicable District law.
