This chapter governs the use and administration of any agent approved by the Pennsylvania Department for narcotic or opioid dependency medication therapy. Facility operators must comply with all provisions in Chapter 715 when administering approved medications for opioid dependency treatment. The chapter covers operational requirements including patient consent, medication dosage, take-home privileges, medication control, and rehabilitative and psychotherapy services within opioid treatment programs.
