Code § 715.29 - Exceptions State Regulations Compare A narcotic treatment program is permitted, at the time of application or any time thereafter, to request an exception from a specific regulation. (1) The request for an exception from a specific regulation shall be in writing, with governing body approval, and shall state how the narcotic treatment program will meet the intent of the regulation. (2) The Department may withhold the granting of an exception and may require a narcotic treatment program to be in actual operation to assess if the exception is appropriate. (3) The Department will reserve the right to revoke any exception previously granted. (4) The narcotic treatment program shall maintain documentation of the Department's approval of an exception. (5) If the exception relates to a specific patient, the narcotic treatment program shall maintain documentation of the exception in the patient's record. Notes 28 Pa.
