This regulation authorizes the Pennsylvania Department to deny, suspend, or revoke approval of a narcotic treatment program for failure to comply with Chapter 715 requirements, following established procedural rules for such actions and appeals. The Department may also recommend federal action through DEA, CSAT, or SAMHSA, and may seek court injunctions to close non-compliant programs. Facility operators must maintain ongoing compliance with all chapter requirements to retain their approval to operate.

Code § 715.4 - Denial, revocation or suspension of approval State Regulations Compare (a) The Department will deny, suspend or revoke approval of a narcotic treatment program if the applicant or program fails to comply with this chapter. Procedures for the revocation, suspension or denial of Department approval, and appeals from these actions, shall be the same as procedures in §§ 709.17 , 709.18 , 711.17 and 711.18 . (b) The Department may recommend to the DEA or CSAT or SAMHSA's designee to initiate proceedings to revoke or deny Federal approval.
