Licensees operating under Chapter 717 must develop and implement written policies and procedures that promote and require resident participation in treatment, self-help groups, or other drug and alcohol recovery supports. Policies must also require residents to abstain from the use and sale of alcohol and illicit drugs, with defined consequences for failure to comply.
