This regulation grants authorized Department representatives the right to enter, visit, and inspect drug and alcohol recovery houses licensed or applying for licensure under Chapter 717. Inspectors have full access to facility and resident records, and may interview residents during the inspection process. Operators must accommodate these inspections and provide unrestricted access to documentation.

Code § 717.10 - Right to enter and inspect State Regulations Compare (a) An authorized representative of the Department has the right to enter, visit and inspect a drug and alcohol recovery house licensed or applying for a license under this chapter. (b) The authorized Department representative shall have full and free access to the records of the drug and alcohol recovery house and its residents.
