This regulation establishes the scope of Article 61, which applies to community mental health centers already licensed under Article 60 that wish to enter into a contract with the Kansas Department for Children and Families as 'participating' CMHCs under the Mental Health Reform Act (K.S.A. 39-1601 et seq.). Operators must meet the requirements of this article to qualify for and maintain participating CMHC status and the associated contractual relationship with the secretary.
