This regulation governs partial or day hospitalization services provided by licensed Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) in Kansas. If a CMHC offers these services directly or through a contractor, it must comply with the department's Medicaid regulations, use appropriately trained or professionally qualified staff, and administer the services under written policies and procedures adopted by the licensee.

Partial or day hospitalization services. If a licensee provides, directly or through a contractor, partial or day hospitalization services, these services shall meet the following conditions: (a) Be provided in compliance with the requirements of the department's medicaid regulations; (b) be provided by appropriately trained or professionally qualified staff; and (c) be administered in accordance with written policies and procedures adopted by the licensee.
