Multidisciplinary team members must be licensed psychologists or psychiatrists with a minimum of one year’s experience in the assessment or treatment of sex offenders. The Department may accept other relevant experience in lieu of the one year of sex offender assessment or treatment experience. In determining whether to accept other experience in lieu of one year of sex offender assessment and treatment, the Department will consider the forensic experience and training the potential team member has in the assessment or treatment of individuals who offend sexually.
