This section requires facility administrators to provide clients and their families, upon request, the contact information for the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services for complaint submission, as well as Medicaid coverage contact information. Administrators must also conspicuously post this information in admissions waiting areas, client service areas, and other public spaces throughout the facility. Programs must establish a policy and procedure allowing clients to voice grievances or recommend changes without fear of reprisal.

(c) The program shall develop a policy and procedure in which clients are able to voice grievances or recommend changes of policies and services to agency personnel and the governing authority without fear of reprisal. (d) The administrator shall also conspicuously post the DHS address and telephone number in (a) above, and Medicaid coverage contact information, in the admissions waiting area or room, in the client service area of the business office, and in other public areas throughout the facility.
